Silly or interesting sona/OC traits spawned from RP/chat shenanigans

What?! Those things are cats! They are, like, the opposite of rats or something!

Although I wouldn't mind one pinning me tightly against the ground with their ginormous scary cat paw.... ehe....

And that is another chat-and-RP-resultant sona trait that Meta has, incidentally! He likes it when bigger, traditionally predatory animals, cats especially, pin him playfully against the floor with their scary paw.
......Don't judge me! ta. the rat. My sona.

<the sleek black kitty grins wickedly as he raises his razor-sharp clawed paw> I'll have to remember that, you crazy rodent you...<teehee>

Kind of reminds me of another gag involving cats with Lenago, don’t really remember how it started, but in the FA forums people kept mistake Lenago for a cat...and a robot....and a lettuce...still...still want to know what that's about....and now that became a quick way to trigger him. Calling him a cat.

XD damn Lenago! I can only imagine you being among overly hyped furpals, thrust into stories and situations where you're mistaken for a lettuce for reasons not even the greatest psychoanalysists could find an answer for. I do wonder how the FA days mustve been like.

They were extremely zany and silly and weird.... so pretty much like these days, really :P

Been a while, but my fursona is developing more traits as time goes on, so here's a couple new ones:

Since Bunny roasted s'mores on my antlers there always seems to be marshmallows on them (it's really hard to wash off, okay?)

I apparently have spectacles for reading up close.

I can seemingly make a black cloak appear out of nowhere, and then I use it to 'dissapear' into the night, but due to my previously mentioned clumsiness I end up just breaking branches and crunching leaves and then tripping over my own cloak, so everybody knows where I am even with my dark cloak in the night.

XD I love it! These are so fantastic :D I also see the word wrestling mentioned a lot when you're around. Has this anything to do with your SONA TRAIT?

All of us can also smell you :P

I have a new-ish one my beloved furpals <3

This is Cheesy the Mouse. His UNIQUE SONA TRAITS is that he's always very cheesy and emotional. So much so that he makes the ones around him feel uncomfortable.

He also loves corn (thanks for the "corny" joke @SQWEK ) :3

My only worry is that I might end up thinking only Cheesy is allowed to be cheesy. There really is no Wuff Wuff without cheesiness, but I guess the difference is that Wuff doesn't make one feel uncomfortable from being way to cheesy ^w^
....
Right guys.... right? ;w;

I love him and plan to lick him until he is soggy.

Right! Also feel free to be as cheesy as you like, we need more cheese over here and I am not just saying that because I happen to be a rat. Also you should be as yogurt as you like :3

Oh yeah and there may or may not be some intense licking between him and Meta, but I've been assured it's all RODENT COMMUNICATION

I really am glad how accepted my cheesiness has been ;w;

Steele didn't always have a cybernetic eye. It came from a plot point that I decided to expand on---it went from simply having migraines on one side of his head (like I do) to the cybernetic eye being poorly installed and causing migraines when it malfunctioned. It's now a permanent part of his character!

So, I am sure that a lot of our sonas or characters have ended up spontaneously having weird traits, abilities or whatnot based on some silly furry community chat or RP that we have done in the past. You know how it goes, some insider joke or the result of some casual RP thing ends up getting semi-canonized in some furry community, leading into your character having a (possibly very silly) trait they did not have before.

I love it when that happens, and I want to hear about it happening in your past furry shenanigans. Please describe any weird sona/character traits gained this way. And if you want to, explain how it ended up happening :3

Here is one of mine: Meta can generate an energizing coffee-like substance called RATCOFFEE from his body. It just comes out of his skin and drips down his fur, y'know. This got started when a furry friend dunked Meta into a coffee cup in a bout of casual RP, and then proceeded to lick the coffee off his body, as you do. The next day in the same chat, coffee got licked off Meta again... but the dunking part was omitted, leading to the logical assumption that he can just secrete a coffee-like substance out of his body at will 😁
I had to give some serious pause/reflection after reading your OP.

I've always had a fairly grounded idea/ideal of 'Me.' The person.
'Furry' and all things related to it, introduced a HUGE universe of things, that to this very second I don't pretend to have a good grasp on... (That's what s/he said!)...
ahems
That's one example!
;-P

When I RP'd (Long time ago, in a Furryverse far, far away), what I set OUT to do, was create characters and then applied traits to them (This hails from my 'AD&D Days' of 'Character Creation' tactics). What I aspired to, was picking things that I (IRL) would NEVER do (Or,,, hadn't yet!), and see how things played out in an open chat/RP room...

So.... Yeah...

Much fun/bawdy times were had, enjoyed, and a FEW fights inspired ('cause,,, it isn't a real Party until someone loses an eye (or body part), right?)...

What I've learned is-

Folks are folks, we ALL have our quirks, and life is meant to be LIVED (And 'Enjoyed', ifatallpossible).

:-D

You make me wonder, Aniwayas Song, how many things from RPs (Furry, or not) have actually gone over into IRL (I guess it goes both ways: probably a lot of IRL things have flown into our personas).

Obviously sniffing butts isn't something I do IRL ^^; but I feel like I do try to be a positive sociable fellow, like perhaps a dog would. I did grow up with dogs though, that may have had a bigger inpact.

Yesyes, the tabletop/CRPG experience has certainly molded the way I have handled character traits in the fursphere, too!
....Also, it turns out that it's really hard to be a feral rat irl. So that also has influenced a bit of differences between Meta the sona and me the irl person. At least for now, until I somehow figure out how to brew a RAT TRANSFORMATION POTION irl :P

But you did tell me once you do the finger guns every now and then, which makes me happier than I'd like to admit :'3
(Or at least one time at the screen)
This is a good question :O
