Was playing some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare single player and few things gotten me thinking, what are some things in single player you all found annoying? From endless enemies along a path you must get to, enemies appearing where there was none or anything else.

Can be any game and anything.

The most annoying thing in any single player game I've ever played is not being allowed to save whenever I want. Busy schedules do not play nicely with games where there could be up to an hour of difficult playtime between save points

Sometimes AI companions can be really annoying...especially in a game like Fallout 4. My favorite companion is Dogmeat for several reasons:

1: He is probably the cutest companion ever and you can't deny that.
2: No matter what you do, he will always stick with you. Dogmeat is one of the few companions that has no "moral effects". You won't have to worry about him disliking something you do and becoming upset with you. He will love you no matter what, truly man's best friend.
3: He won't make snide or snappy comments or remarks on anything you see or do.

Though...a few of the issues with Dogmeat....he is kinda stupid. He always ends up triggering traps or alarms. And he always has a bad habit of getting in your way since he has an AI set to pretty much run in front of you everywhere.

Though it's not always Dogmeat that has these quirks. While having more "human" companions definitely has it's pros...there are cons also. Most of the other more human companions have a moral system that is affected by things you do. If you do things they like, they grow closer and more open with you...unlocking more special dialogue with them or even special missions centered around them. Though if you do things they dislike, they will grow more and more upset with you. This can be a real issue when you find yourself absent-mindedly doing things out of habit or reflex, only to get a message saying your companion "didn't like" you doing that.

While this does make the more human AIs feel more fleshed out, it can be annoying at times when you find yourself at points in the game when you most likely will have to do something that will upset your companion.
