Video shows blotches of color during playback.

I'm having a system issue where when I play a video it will randomly have half the box fill with a green or pink color and the other half will fill with some other color. The audio plays but I have to start and stop the video to get it to display right

It could either be a codec issue or your video card. What steps have you tried to troubleshoot the issue, more information to diagnosis problem is need. For example computer specifications, operating system, video file type (.avi, .mov, .wmv, etc.)

Windows 10 on an upgrade machine from 2011. It turns out it had something to do with the storage settings in the flash app.
