Dog lap bargaining.
I really didn't want hair on my clothes right now. I just changed into them not long ago. But my dog was following me. She sat on the floor of the living room, staring at me. I went into the kitchen for a snack, there she was. I can tell she's in "that" mood where she just wants to be held. Eventually, I sneak back to my room, but behind me, I hear the rapid tchtchtchtchtchtchtch of little claws not far behind me. She knew I was going back to my room, even when she couldn't see me heading that way. Hey, human, where are you going? I require lap! I let her into my room, and up onto my bed, hoping that would at least appease her. I pet her, roughed up her fur, played with her a bit, and then threw blankets over her, because she often gets comfy when buried beneath stuff and goes to sleep, she feels safe when she's hidden. For a few minutes, anyway, that worked, but as I start up my PS5 and load up a game, I hear rustling, huffing, snorting as she's weaseling out of the blankets, I hear her shake herself, and then I hear her approaching behind me. Keep in mind, I'm sat on a rocking chair facing my tv, at the foot of the bed. Of course, I look back at her, and I pet her for a solid minute or two. I hoped she would just get cozy and rest right there, buuut...nope. As I turn back around, she's literally pawing at my shoulder and trying to crawl onto me.
Fine...
