On his twitter page he's mentioned adding a page to allow you to quickly swap out ability bars, which is nice to see. I kinda wish the leech spell was better though, I know it's the imp's move but my Chang mystic got it from a scroll and it heals a little but idk I like leech in games but the leech spell doesn't feel worth while. Worse I wanted to learn that idk holy ground spell from a scroll but I used too many scrolls so it won't let me

So there was recently a bit of drama with the game where Kiseff accidentally released an unfinished build in his Patreon. There was a bit of a controversy because some of the character creation sliders were being nerfed from their gooner levels. (Seriously, of all things to throw fits about?)

And also there were claims of Kiseff being a conman because of having an exclusive build on the Patreon when his game's in Early Access (which is supposed be against Steam rules I think?).

Turns out, Kiseff has been so focused on his process that he winds up a poor communicator. So he made a huge post yesterday detailing a lot of the updates he's been doing.

Summary:
  • Yeah, some of the character sliders got nerfed, but it was basically him updating the models to be a bit more rounded. Like going from early PS1-era to late PS1-era.
  • Skills are not going to have a rank system. You'll buy the skills for points and they'll scale with a specific stat. Also, every class has 10 skills, and it looks like there will be two action bars that can be set for 4 action and 2 support skills each.
  • New overworld terrain system to try to make everything look more natural, including weather.
  • Every class will have two subclasses at level 30 (level cap's going to be 40).
  • There were apparently massive issues with the netplay, and that's been a major focus point for Kiseff's optimizations.
I don't know how much of that's going into the next public build, though.
 
Yeah I saw that post of his as well, people can still mod the gooner stuff if need be I'm just glad the game's still being worked on. As for private build on their patreon..think Carnal Instinct does that but Steam doesn't care for some reason. (quietly hoping the test build for that one goes live at some point as it would be nice to not try everything out on a buggy build) but yeah as for Atlyss I'm looking forward to the next update. Quietly hoping the subclasses all get added as thiefs get something called engineer and that sounds like it'll be fun, makes me think guns and bombs
