Photography.

I have taken a handful of subject-oriented photos I am satisfied with.

Which might not have been what you were expecting.

I generally prefer to not rely on other people for my recreation these days though. Sometimes getting them to follow cues is a pain and I enjoy solitude more and more.

Had a nice walk today. Took my camera with me.

Clearly what y'all need is an old flip phone with a built-in camera, in all its extra low resolution goodness. Photography just doesn't get better than this.

Old-school mobile phone photography is it's own genre of art. The nostalgia is strong and you can't beat the look of it!

You do actually have a good point. You could totally carry an old phone around with you on photo shoots alongside a legit nice camera, just to snap some bonus pictures on the side and do a retro themed shoot and have a whole bunch of pictures that look like they were taken 20 years ago. Old school nostalgia, today!

And, of course, you can play around with the phone and slam it shut, just like the old days. An experience lost in the world of today's phones. When you were MAD at someone, you showed them by slamming your phone shut! The harder you did it, the more you got your point across.
