Faust's Silly Doodles Thread

I thought I'd start a little thread for posting my process, for when I draw my own characters. So here we go!

Here's a little doodle I'm working on as a warm-up for the other thread. See if you can guess what she is!
(It's not difficult...)

Had a fun day adding the basic lines. I may add more detail when I come to start colouring her in.

As usual I'm having trouble deciding on a colour scheme. The colour designer I usually use is suggesting the one on the right, but I dunno about it. It feels too muted. So I tried out two others. Anybody have any thoughts?
