yyyy'ello you lot. my name's Iona-Douglas, usually shorted to I.D. but either half of that name's also fine. i'm a British boygirlthing and i've been a furry since i was 8, mainly because i was too curious looking up Pokemon on Google. i've been extremely unemployed for a while now thanks to my combined autism and lack of qualifications so i mostly just sit at home not doing much with myself aside from talking to my friends or gawking at my collection of Mouthwashing merchandise.
i'm primarily an artist; i mostly do digital illustrations over traditional art, i'm hoping to maybe do commissions once i can get my PayPal account to stop being so disagreeable. i'm also a beginner at fursuit making, i completed a head and tail a little while ago (paws are beyond me, though, i had to commission someone on Etsy to do that part) which i think look at least half decent, and i've ordered some materials to give a shot at making two more heads. other than that, i like to write but very rarely end up finishing anything (the last time i uploaded anything to my AO3 account was a year ago now, and it was only my 3rd piece on there).
i've got a good handful of fursonas, but my main one's a pink African Forest elephant named Topples. i love her a lot, i like drawing him whenever i can (even if that accursed trunk keeps tripping me up).
i made an account on here because despite being a furry for a good while now ive never felt all too ingrained with the surrounding community. i do have friends who are also furries and a lot of my online input has been furry-related, but i've always felt i should probably go a little deeper socially. i can be a bit anxious and might be hesitant to speak much out of worry i'm breaking some unspoken rule, but i hope i can have a nice time here.
