I couldn't say, I just used a generic photo of the LA Skyline as a reference. I have no idea what all those buildings are! :D

Yeah, it's this building. I'm not from LA, but this is usually one of the iconic city buildings of the LA skyline. Also known as the Maze Bank building in GTA's Los Santos.

The city backdrop is probably going to have to be a whole other process; it's too complex and I didn't want to squeeze it into this stage. Suffice to say it won't just be a bunch of grey boxes in the final image. I just don't want to go to all that trouble until I'm happy with the foreground.
