the mushroom console pours out an entire DOUBT POTION
the mushrooms suddenly feel doubtful about their position
the doubt wave spreads out over the entire island, causing everyone to doubt things
they may of massively more POTION then the recommended doseage, by a factor of 250, however they cannot be sure due to doubt
"the great wave of doubt may or mat not of hit the mainland, no one can be sure anymore as all certainly is tainted with doubt, everyone distrusts stuff, leading to levels of opinions that would easily lead to mass conflict, however no one is sure enough of their own thoughts to fight over then"
report from an unpressurized satellite reporter far above the atmosphere(sort of like the old use of an ai character, not generated by ai, but instead a human like mind built into a character that didn't have a biological brain)
(edit, wait that statement might be under the impact of the doubt, which doesn't fit the story, sense the satellite is above the doubt cloud at a safe distance)
