This will be my next project. I bought this chap to be a star player in my wrestling team, and his name makes me want to paint him up to be the goat version of Macho Man Randy Savage. If anyone has suggestions on the colour scheme I should use, especially for his wool, let me know! I may try and 3D-print some tiny shades for him too.

Ooooh hell yeah Badger :D !!! I do love the idea of making him based off of Randy Savage. I'm no expert in wrestling, but perhaps looking at his most famous get up would help :3 sofar as I can tell, this one was pretty popular:

Ooo, I could make that work, perhaps with the vibrant yellow and red for the wool and black on the shorts. I could even try to 3D print a hat for him.

Uff, yeah, making it big enough is one way, having actual holes for the horns would be the absolute peak, but probably reaaaally difficult to do.

i used to paint miniatures for dnd my best one was an ogre-zombie i did but i also enjoyed dry-brushing the wings of an aasimar warrior
Do you still have them? Feel free to share a pic of them!

Dry-brushing is seriously satisfying, that's how I painted the fur pelt on my female wrestler.

Excuse the poor first attempt at green-screening something. The photo box has a green background and I had to try!

Another miniature painted. Two miniatures in a year, that must be a record for me.

Huh, that actually didn't turn out that bad - neither the miniature, nor the green screen attempt. The lighting kind of gives it away, but the choice in background is a very close and solid pick that almost looks believable for a moment. With some slight photoshopping, that could totally look convincing as being part of some online game.

Yeah, you can see where the light reflected off the greenscreen and back onto the miniature. The light on the box can be dimmed, so I might try that and hope for a better result. I didn try to remove some of the green using some software, but it's all a learning thing at the moment, I've never done it before, haha! I'd love to photoshop out the black of the base. :)

Considering green screening is something you never do, any and all of these issues cannot and shouldn't be judged. As a simple experiment and learning experience, an introduction into doing it in general, I think it turned out fantastic. We all have to start somewhere when we learn something, and I'd say you're starting on a very good note. There's a hell of a lot worse a first attempt could be, and I think that's way more important to focus on than any issues it actually has.
