Out of boredom, I designed a redstone mob trap in Minecraft. Pretty self explanatory, mob steps on the plate, blocks shoot up around it, and as long as there's a roof above their head, they're stuck. A good way to trap a skeleton if you want a farm for music discs...just make sure you hit the creeper a couple times with a sword first before dragging them over to the skeleton.

Of course, in a PvP context, it can be used for something else entirely if you add TNT beneath the pressure plate. It's worse than a regular landmine, because it traps you in place while the bomb detonates. Though, this might have to be rather elaborately disguised, because no one is going to be dumb enough to fall for it, surely. In the screenshot of the stone hallway, the wood pressure plate and the redstone you see are fake - they're not actually hooked to anything. Look closer to the player, and you'll see a stone pressure plate shortly before it that IS live! The whole area is essentially just to trick you into not seeing the stone pressure plate. There's a bunch of seemingly decorative holes on the lower parts of the walls, which anyone would probably think has "tripwire" written all over it, but there isn't one...this time, anyway. Right in plain view is a fake pressure plate that doesn't match at all - conveniently lit by a nearby torch to draw attention, and it's right about that point where a player is probably wondering how stupid you really must think they are when BOOSH, their path is blocked before they even get to the fake plate, and there's a hissing sound. Still might not work, depending on how attentive a player is, but this is a reasonably decent scenario that I quickly came up with.

The trap itself does not have any convenient reset switch, I should add, because by design, it breaks something and renders itself permanently active, however it just breaks a piece of redstone and a redstone torch, so it's an easy enough reset. Just break the redstone torch down below to shut off the signal, add the redstone and the torch up top, and then put the torch down low back again.

Phew! Just got done playing through Inscryption, after letting it linger in Act 2 for way too long.

I know there's a whole metafiction plot, but if I've got to be honest? I really enjoyed the deckbuilding mechanics and found the whole live-action thing to be a sideplot at most.

I know there's an endless mod for Act 1 but I won't touch it yet. I almost want a standalone version of Act 2 or 3 as well if I've got to be honest.

Was screwing around in GTA: Vice City just now, playing some missions. I literally failed one of the first couple missions of the whole game because Mercedes fucking jumped in the water when I went to steal a car. This dumb bitch!

Leave it to me to leave the wreckage of a car in the weirdest of places. Don't ask how it got up there...let alone upside down.

Kids will remember stealing a Lazer from Fort Zancudo.

MEN will remember stealing a Hunter from Fort Baxter.

How the fuck....I've never even gotten Despair, LET ALONE WAR(in 6-7 years)
It took me an extremely long fucking time, I have to admit. Technically, I started playing the game back in like...2017, I want to say? I had a few accounts since then, but never - not once - did I have all of Stalker's weapons. This is actually the first time I've had Hate, let alone War, with this account. You're not missing "that" much with Despair or War, luckily. I've had Despair twice, once on two accounts, and it's...I mean. It's Kunai. It's kind of lame, but looks cool for fashion, and that's about it. As for War...it's kind of decent, it just sucks that it's a greatsword, and thus SO FUCKING SLOW. Maybe with mods/stances I don't have, it would be a lot better, but mine currently sucks. But like Despair, it's cool for fashion, I guess.

For War, get Tempo Royale, best greatsword stance for all Heavy Blades, Hate Incarnon is decent from what I hear, but I use my Glaive Prime(with Riven)

I haven't listed my favorite games yet! Imma do that now, top 5 in no particular order because I love them all so dearly are:
  • Warframe
  • Titanfall 2
  • Terraria
  • Skyrim
  • Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order(haven't played Survivor yet, but that would probably be up here too)

Shoutouts to Midway's Psi-Ops for making fun physics and psychic power sandboxes, satisfying enemies with multiple ways to combat, and an interesting framework for a story that unfortunately went down with the company.

They knew how to make very shootable looking enemies, too. Tell me you don't wanna telekinesis the middle guy into a wall.

Got "Trepang2" off Steam. A funny name, in Indonesian it means "sea cucumber", a kind of edible sea creature. But this creature has a habit of self-eviscerating as a defense, and that's likely why the name was used. Cause the game is deliciously bloody!

Very strongly inspired by FEAR but without little girls wielding illogical powers (thank goodness...). Instead we have all manners of advanced science gone wrong. Looks like a "contemporary tactical" shooter at a glance but actually it's a light sci-fi run'n'gun, no subtlety, just destroy them all. Highly recommended if that's your thing.

Are you fucking serious?!

I literally couldn't get Hate for YEARS. After just finally getting it not that long ago, I just randomly got ANOTHER blueprint for it. This game is screwing with me right now.

Aww gosh >w< well at least you got it Katara! Don't let the game get into your head.

Also I have one to add my favourites, mainly due to the community:

Super Animal Royale

I've made so many friends on there ;w; and they're all so wholesome!

I made a pretty car in Need For Speed. Not really my "favorite" Need For Speed (this game is REALLY rushed and not that great), but nonetheless, I'm messing around in it at the moment, and made this. It's technically a recreation of an identical Charger I had a few years ago in the game, using the Autosculpt feature on various parts. It's kind of funny in a game about riced cars to go and make this. It's still mildly riced, but somewhat tastefully so, attempting to stick to a simple, classic look. It looks like some radical kit that could have been done in the 60s, or maybe the 70s.

I'm sure some of you will have seen my freakout over getting a second PS2 disc of San Andreas that also doesn't work the other day. I have a third(!!) disc coming in at some point in the next few days, hopefully the fucking thing works - third time's a charm, but on the way home earlier, I stopped and ran a couple small errands related to the game. I stopped at a retro store in town (no San Andreas there - I checked) and picked up a dedicated memory card I'll be using for the game, because I don't know why, but I think it'll be cool at some point to have my best display example of the game to also have a memory card with a 100% save of the game I'll be doing at some point. The box has a slot for a memory card, so why not. I'll have it backed up on other cards as well just in case for whatever reason the one card dies (one of the best things about the old memory card system is backup saves are great for anxiety over losing saves), but nonetheless, there will be one card in the San Andreas case itself that just has save data for the one game. Seeing as it's literally THE biggest game of the console, and frankly of the generation, it deserves its own card for cool factor. For that, I bought a brand new third party 64 MB memory card (I have several, and have never had an issue whatsoever with them, despite the controllers made by the same company being garbage), but while I was at the store earlier, I also found a transparent green PS1 memory card that looked cool. Seeing as green is kind of a prominent color in San Andreas...it fits. So I got that as well, and upon getting home, I took both the memory cards apart and swapped the transparent green covering on the 64 MB internals to create a custom card. It appears to be a PS1 memory card, but it's not! You can see the original internals next to the modified card beside it. I've actually done the exact same thing in the past with a non-transparent greenish-gray shell that serves as my main PS2 card most of the time. Took a minute to get the clear green shell cleaned up, since it had "Sim City" written on it, and had nasty gunk on it that I had to use a magic eraser to get it all to come off. But it did, and turned out really good. After all that, I also added a black piece of duct tape, since I HATE fingerprints for the sake of OCD, but it also adds just a tiny bit of extra grip...for whatever the hell that's really worth. Quite a long story for an otherwise odd seemingly PS1 card stuck in my good San Andreas case now. But now it's got basically everything that comes with the standard edition of the game, (even a 100% checklist I made)...I just need a working freaking disc now. Maybe someday I'll get the Special Edition just for the cool gold case and the Sunday Driver disc, but that's just too expensive to currently justify, and it uses the same disc as the normal game anyway, so it's not like there's any new content or version differences.
