Fortunately, there was a farmer's market right close by selling some insect milk and mollusc cheese.
Unfortunately Lenago pondered about how they got the milk from the insects and molluscs and then decided against buying them :(
Fortunately, when he got home he discovered that he had won an year's supply of mollusc cheese in the mollusc cheese sweepstakes
Unfortunately he also got a free subscription of the DUDEBRO magazine with it and sold all the cheese for bitcoin
Unfortunately the Pawlice got the transaction details all mixed up and arrested him for fraud
Unfortunately, the JAIL RATS were caught once again and now they're forced to eat warm mayo-beet flavored yogurt at prison for the rest of their lives... which ultimately transforms them into beets.
Fortunately this caused a movement to "respect the beets", something non-ex-rat beets weren't capable of because they lacked funding due to being marginalised for so long. This made beets live happier lives
Unfortunately the beets never learned how to manage finances having had none for so long. Soon enough the poor "beats" were beat and corrupt beat cop beets beat the beaten beets often, resulting in a beaten beet society with beet wars and roving gangs of beets beating beets with lots of beet on beet violence. They were unbeatable.
