Fortunately, unfortunately

This is another fun silly game that you may have seen on other forums in the past, here's how it works:

One person posts a statement beginning with "fortunately", to which the next posts a follow up statement, beginning with "unfortunately".
Then the fortunatelys and unfortunatelys take turns, you get the idea.

Fortunately, I am a totally a furry.

Unfortunately you live in a dry area and every movement electrocutes you with self-generated static electricity.

Fortunately you have access to water to help.

Fortunately, they are all furries themselves

Unfortunately the rats' idiocies end up burning down half of the city.

Fortunately no rats were harmed

Unfortunately, some of the rats got slightly tired.

Fortunately the city was rebuilt with rat hammocks.

 

[Spilo]

Unfortunately, the rat hammocks were enchanted with a spell that turned the rats into skunks, making the city smell

Fortunately the smell was nice to many.

Fortunately, the inhabitants of the city were all anthros, so it had been smelly already
(too slow!) :3

Unfortunately, the skunks began a spraying spree, which turned the anthro inhabitants into anthro skunks

Fortunately the skunks became furry furries and made up other animals as fursonas to bring by diversity

Unfortunately with the lack of anthro bees, the city's previously buzzing honey industry suffered greatly.

Fortunately a bear who lived outside of town, most likely called Richard, had a ton in store and made a good living off of selling it

Unfortunately, with him focusing so much time on his honey business, his second career as a private detective suffered.

Fortunately the skunks didn't like attorneys and outlawed them, causing the demand of private detectives to plummet.
