I got some coloured contact lenses this year!!! One is yellowish feline shaped, and the other regular shaped but pure rich purple. I never wore them in my life but when I had a chance to pick these ones up I HAD to try at least once!! NOOOO idea how it will go, but really looking forward to the results! <purrr>

Finally, this stupid daylight slaving time is over! You'd think it's such a small thing but I feel I can breath freely again! I'm a nocturnal critter by heart. My chronotype is to get up late, sit around doing stuff until late. Early morning job violates this no matter what (and we don't have nine-to-five here typically, it's more like half-to-seven-to-half-to-four) - but DST violates it noticeably more. I just wish the EU would make up its mind and permanently stopped those moronic shenanigans with the clock, as was proposed way back in 2018 already.
I used some of my massive overtime from the past few months to treat myself to a nice toy!
I managed to get a Meta (Occulus) Quest 3 VR headset (full version, not the "S") for a VERY good price (about 1/2 off) and they even threw in an extra battery, docking station, and deluxe headstrap (about $250 extra for free on top of the sale) so I nabbed it and DAMN is it fun!! 3D movies and 360 views to relax in, augmented reality so I can still see, and very impressed with the graphic quality and speed. Love the control over the floating browsers, floating keypad, and the like, and it was pretty comfortable and light too. One time I had a video playing that from my POV was on a screen literally the size of a theater screen curved with a 3D clip playing between the curves like a hologram...and when I walked close, it was clearer than my HD TV in the basement with my nose almost "touching" it. Even played a game where it scanned the room in 3D and had aliens invading through the live walls and ceiling while debries landed on my chair and rolled onto the floor while the aliens hid all around the room and behind objects
