Fortunately, other animals are quick to pick up the slack, and soon the city is overflowing with various milk: cat milk, ferret milk, pike milk, gecko milk and fly milk, you name it, and derivative dairy products of all kinds
(metaphorically overflowing, there is only rarely actual milk flooding on the streets)

Fortunately, some quick thinking and RAT TRANSFORMATION POTION turns much of the population into feral rats to save space.

Unfortunately, because of the flying milk it is raining milk that DOES cause milk to flood the streets

Fortunately, the aforementioned rat population fixes this problem with a milk drinking frenzy :3

Unfortunately, the transformation potion effects turn unstable, and all the previously transformed rats turn into SKUNKS instead! The skunks fix everything, even better than those pesky rats!

Fortunately, everyone gets distracted from the conflict by the fact that the plant-based milk alternatives are produced from the milk of anthro plantsonas, and everyone clusters around to watch all the anthro radishes and plums get milked.
